We do one thing and do it well

About Mr Hot Dog

I’m David. Owner, cook, and the man behind the hatch at Mr. Hot Dog. I started this business because I love food and I love people. Street food brings both together. It’s social, it’s satisfying, and when it’s done right, it’s a great buzz.

Mr. Hot Dog is built on a simple idea: do one thing well, and do it with care. We’re not here to reinvent fine dining in a field. We’re here to serve great-tasting hot dogs to people who are up for a good time. Whether that’s at a wedding, a festival or a private party somewhere in Yorkshire.

What’s on the Menu?

Hot dogs. Big ones. Served fast, packed with flavour, and made to please a crowd. Our menu is simple, but it’s got range, just enough to keep everyone happy without slowing things down.

The Dog

Our signature sausage is 26cm long with an 85% pork content. Gluten-free, skinless, delicately smoked, and seasoned to perfection, they’re a long way from those things you find in a jar. Proper hot dogs, done right.

The Roll & Toppings

All our dogs come in soft brioche rolls with a range of toppings and sauces. From classic ketchup and crispy onions to sauerkraut, gherkin, pastrami, and some spicy extras! We’ve got crowd-pleasers to suit all the family!

The Crowd Favourites

Surprisingly, the plain hot dog with crispy onions and ketchup is our top seller. Dads tend to go for the full New Yorker. mums love the Bavarian, and there’s always a few who opt for the Hot One. Whoever they are, they usually come back for another one.

House Rules

We keep things simple on purpose. It's how we stay fast, consistent, and focused on serving great hot dogs every single time.

We don’t serve drinks.

It’s not an oversight. It’s a choice. We focus entirely on the food and it means we can serve you faster. You’ve probably already got a drink in hand anyway.

We only have 4 hot dogs.

That’s it. Not because we’re short on ideas, but because we’ve found what works. A smaller menu means less waste, quicker service, and a better result

No Mayo.

We’ve got ketchup, mustard and hot sauce. But we believe mayo doesn’t belong on a hot dog. It’s the one thing we take a hard line on. You won’t miss it.

Bring your appetite.

These aren’t bite-sized snacks. They’re 26cm, quarter-pound hot dogs in toasted brioche rolls. If you’re hungry, you’re in the right place.
